Pre-shoot Checklist

Exterior prep

  • Park vehicles on the street and away from the property.

  • Put garbage cans away.

  • Sweep walkways and porches.

  • Mow lawn, trim shrubs and clear away fallen leaves.

  • Hide Garden hose/reel.

  • Clean and arrange patio furniture.

  • Put kids toys/pet toys away.

  • Clean up after any animals or pets.

Interior prep

  • Turn on all interior lighting.

  • Close all toilet seats.

  • Turn off all ceiling fans.

  • Sweep/mop floors, clean windows and dust any surfaces.

  • Put any clutter away in drawers, closets or garage.

  • Remove toiletries and used towels from bathrooms.

  • Declutter all surfaces (countertops, vanities, dressers, nightstands etc).

  • Make all beds and straighten all curtains.

  • Hide all trash cans (Kitchen and Bathrooms).

  • Put kids toys/pet toys away.

  • Hide all pets and pet related items such as dog bowls, litter boxes.

  • Replace burnt out light bulbs.

What we’ll help with…

✔ Providing advice on how to best showcase your property listing.

What we can’t do…

✗ Move or rearrange furniture or other items in the house.
✗ Make beds, clean, dust or declutter.
✗ Touch or remove personal hygiene items (shampoo, toothbrushes etc).
✗ Move or handle pets.
✗ Photoshop items out of the image that will mislead viewers. e.g. removing power lines.
